The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Egyptian Al Ahly (1-1) in Tunis on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by Tunisian Club Africain (2-0) 69-68. Quite upsetting was Nigerian Maktown's 25-point home defeat in a game versus Moroccan FUS Rabat who smashed hosts The best player for the winners was William Perry who scored 24 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was Peter Olisemeka who recorded a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds. Maktown's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. FUS Rabat will meet at home Al Ahly (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 3: Club Africain won against ASCVD on the opponent's court 85-79. Winless JCA lost to Moroccan defending champion FUS Rabat in a home game 55-85. Winless JCA recorded a loss to Maktown on the road 68-76.
